Operations go wrong - no one worry about that in regards to Circumcision? I mean... the is a chance, a % rate, of these procedure going wrong and things getting messed on a scale of 'ok' to 'horrific'. Unless you really need the procedure for serious reasons, why chance it for yourself, or risk it for your offspring.

    • My 3 y/o was detected with a condition in his kidneys before birth. Basically 1/6 of his kidneys are damaged. His foreskin was also not 'conventional' at birth.deadsperm
    • The specialist we saw said that he might need a circumcision. He gets yearly checkups. When he turned 1 the specialist said it wasn't really necessary.deadsperm
    • We would have been OK with either of his recommendations. We also benefit from universal healthcare.
My kid is #healthy despite not being on a keto diet.

    • It’s a very simply and fast procedure (not much of an operation).monospaced
    • It was still unnecessary in our case.
For health reasons according to the surgeon.

To be clear: if you said a clipped tricked out dick looks badass I would have your back.
My only issue is claiming it's for health reasons.

    • I don't see the logic in being anti-flat earth, anti-religion and being pro circumcision for health reasons.deadsperm
    • I personally don't think anyone who circumcises needs to give a reason or make anyone satisfied with a reason.monospaced
    • if their reason is for looks, or tradition, that's their own call and they don't need to answer to internet strangers who might not be happy with the reasonmonospaced
    • Anyway, I wasn't talking to you. I was responding to the original post here from shapesalad.monospaced
    • It's an irreversible decision so that might be where your militantism is coming from.
      It's all good though.

    • Believing in God, that the earth is flat or dinosaurs are extinct are also personal beliefs that need not be judged.

    • I'm OK with anyone acting like an idiot, I've done it many times myself, I will call them them out when they do it in name of science though.deadsperm
    • militantism? not remotely. it's also not an idiotic decision.monospaced

Honestly: I don't considered QBN members as internet strangers that's why it surprises me that you hold this position.

    • Let's say that I respect your opinion and leave it at that.deadsperm
    • I feel a lot of people around here are extremely judgemental and anti-circumcision, and are demanding some sort of reason for it, then saying there isn't onemonospaced
    • I feel you, man. People act the same way about dinosaur extinction.
      Live the truth.

    • Well, let's just say I was deemed in need of circumcision at age 5. But when I became a teenager I felt something didn't look right. Had to have it corrected atshapesalad
    • 18 because it looked like it had been hacked by a junior doctor. It caused a lot of stress during my teenage years. It was more than likely not required.shapesalad
