F*cking Xmas
As last night's improvised diner once again proved, there's no way to keep my mother and sister from eventually pushing each other's buttons and ruining an evening.
Add my dad to the mix, never one to calm things down, and tomorrow's diner should either be painfully awkward (my brother in law and I on alert for first signs of trouble) or a big mess, leaving everyone miserable as per the tradition.
Yet, every year my mother makes a big deal on celebrating it.
Too late for me to bail, but if this one sucks I'm sparing myself from future shitty Xmases with this bunch!
- Get a cab, get in with your brother in law, go celebrate it out there and come back late next day with a silly excuse...OBBTKN
