I think this has been answered before but how would you go about dealing with pessimist co-workers.

I started my new gig yesterday and I have to collaborate with another designer who complains a lot.

He prefers to use Figma over Sketch because of certain features and refused to switch over for a long time. Jokes on him, if you know how to use one, the other will be easy to pick up and vice-versa.
Learning a new tool should be seen as adding another skill under your belt, keeping you up to date, and in turn make you a more valuable asset to your team. Why would you complain about something like that?!!?

    • Tell him, "Wait till you use Invision, you'll really be complaining..."robotron3k
    • Figma is buggy as hellChuckJones
    • Sounds like there's a back story tha might be relevant to you in your new role - get to the root of their negativity and head that shit off at the pass.Nairn
    • Why would you try to get a coworker to switch software on your first day?zarkonite
    • I didn't ^ it's what they've been using at the company for a bitMaaku
    • oh ahaha sorry, I thought you were trying to get him to switch to Sketch out of nowhere =)zarkonite
