I can't watch network television anymore. The ads are so. fucking. annoying. I watched one football game earlier, but just switched this game off because of the ads. Can only watch so many State Farm w/ Aaron Rogers ads before I snap.
- I have had cable for 2 years because it saved us $5 a month if we bundled it. Maybe turned it on once to see what was on.eryx
- When we did all we got was station not available, station not available. Then endless commercials. Said fuck it and watched netflix.eryx
- I haven't watched tv that way in years. Sometimes the commercial blacks are so long you could forget what you were watching all together.shellie
- Quit TV in 2005. All the reasons above and more. Never looked back.********

- Since many many years only YouTube and Online Documentaries/ Movies for me. This way I can choose much more specifically what I want to watch.NBQ00
- Netflix content is as full of ads as tv, just no direct spots. The sell out production before the stories are written so brands can adjust stories to them.mekk
- I've not had a TV with network channels on for a good 15 years, so I'm always a bit goggle-eyed and entranced by adverts. For the first hour, anyway.Nairn
- I've been trying to convince my mom to dump cable. She already has and uses all the streaming platforms. Cut the cable box! 100+ bucks a month for nothing.shellie
- She can literally watch all her favorite shows on youtubeTV, hulu, netflix, and HBOgo -- no need for a DVR. She doesn't watch sports or tons of movies, either.shellie
