  I remember reading about drift on Google Maps, with slight updates gradually making certain pointers and references move over the course of time.

  I have a 'helpful' link in my email signature to a Google maps pointer to direct people to my studio here.

  I haven't checked it in years. Guess what?

  Perhaps explains why some of my clients have turned up here slightly exasperated. I just wish they'd said something, if that was the case.

  • have to check on open streetmaps.api
  • I regularly find pointers that are on random spots, it's not reliable at all as a long term archive.zarkonite
