looking to upgrade my ride, nothing crazy as most of my money still needs to go to raising my kids lol, but I've narrowed it down to these based on price, what will fit in my garage, the amount and distance i drive, Canadian winters and access to the back seats for kids so no coupe and pref.manual.

open to other suggestions as well

    • A4. That's a nice looking one, too. I've been amazed how fun my folks is (compared to my M3).formed
    • might as well take a look at an S4, too ;-)formed
    • Is the avant model available in ca? I'd get the A4 avant with quattro for winter conditions as daily kidsmobile.mekk
    • s4 would be sweet, not sure we have an avant here, but my wife has a suv/wagon so those needs are met I just want something fun for myself :)_niko
    • I'm getting a BMW 520 in January for very similar reasons to you. I do about 13k miles a year and have two young kids.Hayzilla
    • My wife just got an A4. The 2015 version looks a world better than the 2019 version!Hayzilla
    • Go with Audi. Personally, I don't like any of the new BMW's. I'd take an M2 or 4, but other wise they feel cheap (at least the one's I've driven) comparably.formed
    • I've test driven an 420, 520 & A4. The 520 is another level above the others.Hayzilla
    • ^ Yup, but in all fairness you should have compared the 520 to an E-Class or an A6mekk
    • I am not a fan of Volkswagen/Audi anymore. Too much faking: Emissions and engine sounds. And I think the new night rider/disco indicators are a joke.Longcopylover
    • That's true mekk, I was responding to formed's statement about all other BMWs feeling cheap.Hayzilla
