OK, this doesn't deserve too much of my energy... but just for the record DG is NOT related to anyone at Gensler Architecture, nor was he EVER the COO of any company.
He worked in Philly for Gyro Advertising as an assistant AD, got fired for being annoying, was hired at Monsoon as Creative Director, got fired for alienating clients and trying to start his own business with company resources, and then slinked off to start HumanBrand in the suburbs.
What amazes me is that with a few talented interns, some passably trendy design, and a huge pile of megalomania, you can go on to dupe Damon Dash into financing your business.
I have to hand it to him. He has gone rather far on very little. And the quality of his people's output has gotten better as well.
If he could just grow up and drop the macho power bullshit, he might eventually earn some respect.
...or maybe he'll just remain an MTV Cribs money-grubbing fool.
Dave - if you are reading this, you should contact Carty and Derek. You guys are a match made in heaven.
