    I just survived the liquidation of my entire product team at the tech startup I work for... The Director of Product and our UX researcher were cut loose. I was the UX/UI designer on that team but my position is now a bit fluid at the moment. The reason I'm still standing is because of my past experience with advertising and marketing as a AD. It's kind of a weird place to be in. Has anyone else lived through this and more importantly continued to work long term at the same company?

    • backstory: a consultant was brought in to streamline our tech ecosystem. He ended up pitching a product pivot and the CEO took it... using his 3rd party firm!brandonp
