Remember the enormous Equifax data breach?

https://eligibility.equifaxbreac… 45 percent of Americans' data was compromised in the Equifax security breach. You can check your liability to file a claim through this link, and then you can be part of the $700M settlement.

If you have credit monitoring already, you can get one $125 payment. If you don't, they will provide you free credit monitoring for at least 4 years. You have to pick one.

    • ...if something actually happened to you because of the data breach, you can get more compensation.sarahfailin
    • I'm not impacted. :(
Was really looking forward to a little extra cash.

    • check to mail lolsted
    • I wouldn't be surprised if they were using prices for sensitive personal information on the black market to calculate this compensation.sted
    • i was impacted. i already have credit monitoring and identity theft/fraud alert. That $125 check will turn into a nice date dinner.capn_ron
    • @capn_ron well hurry, with this data anybody can impersonate you and might even steal your gurl!grafician
    • Hmmm well I qualified. It sounds like the amount may actually be less than $125 though, it depends on how many people claim.yuekit

    • also wasn't that a $700 mili fine? a settlement might be something else...but def 45% of ppl will need to look over their shoulders - digitally - forevergrafician
