  I was talking to my wife about the actress that plays Eleven earlier tonight. The other day I was listening to a radio show where one of the hosts was a friend of her parents.

  Seemingly as a kid she was really talented with acting and singing (covering stuff like amy winehouse) but her folks didnt have the money to send her to acting school etc.

  She went for an audition for something and was told that they MUST get her to the US and Hollywood as she had massive talents. So her folks borrowed money from friends/family to get her over there. Soon after over there she landed the Stranger Things gig ...

  The guy was singing her praises massively saying that she's got a really mature head on her - like that of a 30yo rather than a 15yo.
