is Ethereum and Litecoin still good? I mostly have LTC and ETH, should I move all of it on something else?

    • I'd definitely say its a good idea to hold some percentage of the top 3 or 4 technologies in the space as a hedge to bitcoin but BTC=market leader.ridg0026
    • lol @ technologies ... it’s all blockchainmonospaced
    • yup all blockchain. Is blockchain not technology?ridg0026
    • is it a good idea to move some of my ETH and LTC in BTC now?Bennn
    • i bought a chunk of ETH at a bit of a high and still way below even though BTC has jumped back up to/above par. Fingers crossed its just a little slowhardhat
    • same here hardhatMilan
    • It’s a technology. What are the other 3-4 of them?monospaced
    • The only difference between one crypto and the next is the bros behind it and the name. It’s all one technology.monospaced

    • A good starting point to learn about the differences would be to compare Ethash v SHA-256. There are many other fundamental differences.zarkonite
    • both identical with blockchain. Even though both are technically one way cryptographic hash function, the output blocks on a blockchain can be mined.monospaced
    • Difference is in mining. To an investor there is no diffeeence but I’m happy to learn. Help me know thanks.monospaced
    • You asked what other technologies there were. Well the hash is one. You could easily google the rest, you're conflating blockchain with other unique tech layerszarkonite
    • I think someone else was. But okay.monospaced
