As I said recently I'm quitting my job in the creative/ ad industry in next few months.
I'm thinking of being extra cocky at work to my female boss who's also a creative director.
Not in a rude way, just want to see her a bit perplexed and surprised :)
What do you think is the best way to do so?
- Sounds childish. Just leave. I was told never to be a dick to people on your way up or out because you never Kermit who you'll cross on the way down.shellie
- You never *know.
Don't listen to evil Kermit.shellie - No not be a dick or rude. Just a bit cocky and subtle funny remarksNBQ00
- NBQ00 listen to shellie, it isn't worth it....
i actually did the ugly version :) called the ceo a drugaddict whore held out by the owner :)sted - and told her "bestie" who was an account that she is just friendly because this way you tell her everything about the coworkers.sted
- all of it really nice and loud, paying attention that lots of people can hear :Dsted
- LISTEN TO SHELLIE!pango
- lol ok :)NBQ00
- Don't stew in sarcasm, or leave her "perplexed" as you say; she will read it as resentment. It will be plain as day. Be kind to people.notype
- But if you are 10, then act 10.notype
- So you want to Brexit it?i_monk
- notype, I didn't want to be rude to her or unkind in any way. More like a different type of cockiness.NBQ00
- Idk I hate cocky dudes so I can see myself holding on to that last impression if I ever crossed you again.shellie
