Any 3d qoob's with insight?
I need to brand a ship. I have 2D elevations (side view) of the ship with the branding graphics all in vector.
What kind of 3D file do I need to get from the shipbuilders/architects that would allow me to take my art and apply it to the ship -- like one would vinyl wrap a bus or car?
Can I do this with Photoshop's 3D functionality, or do I need to use blender or something like that?
I need to be able to show different views of the ship
- they will probably give you a CAD file. (Autocad, Catia...) Ask for as many format as possible. Whatever, it's never an easy task since you'll go from volumetrigonzalle
- volumetric to polygonal. You'll get a lot of bad meshes. Whatever will be the software you will use it's a LOT of work. Give a look at blender or C4D.gonzalle
- good to know! thanksGnash
