Sooo, now the GOP wants to pass a bill that clips the emergency powers of the President. There's 14 GOP senators cosigned on this bill that won't apply to the current "emergency." I'm thinking that they're worried about the next Democrat president calling for an emergency. How will we ever know what they're really after?

Oh, I have an idea. If Trump vetos the congress' dismissal of his emergency, these 14 could vote to override his veto.. think it will happen? Stay tuned.

    • This is the same shit they pulled in Wisconsin when they lost the governorship to a democrat and passed laws to limit the new governors powers.dorf
    • Aight, so Sen. Lee (Utah) stepped up and will vote against Trumps emergency. 13 more to go.mathinc
    • im quite ok with less executive power. that has been growing by partisanship for awhile now. Well bush did it so let obama do it more, now trump. weak
