  On March 1, 1974, 45 years ago today, a grand jury in Washington, D.C., returned a 13-count indictment against John N. Mitchell (former Attorney General of the United States and later head of the Committee to Re-elect the President), six named co-conspirators, and, as was clear, one unindicted co-conspirator.
