I can't believe the ecosystem has gotten this bad.
I just spent *an hour*, with tutorials, trying to sync an iMovie-exported .mp4 from my laptop onto my iPhone. Apparently impossible without <rage>emailing or Dropboxing it to myself</rage>.
Flabbergasted. I got within an inch of bouncing this phone off a brick wall. How, in 2019, is this what we're working with?
- Same with the fact that I can plug in a Samsung phone to my MacBook Pro without a dongle but can't do so with Apple's own iPhone. Jeez.NBQ00
- Too many inconsistencies at Apple nowadays. I can't believe Tim Cook, Jony Ive and the upper management don't notice all of this.NBQ00
- Airdrop?ArmandoEstrada
- Just import into iTunes and sync. Ffs it’s been the same for over a decade.monospaced
- mono, I definitely tried that. whatever photos I sync through iTunes don't show up at all on the phone. total mystery.e-wo

- Airdrop or iCloud should work — but admittedly for years I used Dropbox for file transfers (it does now work with Apple's "Files" app).evilpeacock
