I got a job offer on January 11th to be a mentor at Thinkful.
I've signed the documents and 5 emails later I still haven't heard from them to this date.I have no clue about what the next steps are, they haven't walk me through the curriculum and I don't know how they match teachers with students. The dates were also wrong in the paperwork, they all said 2018 (they clearly use a template).
I even tried reaching out to the head of the dept. through Linkedin and still nothing. I am in the process of seeking legal advice. You simply don't offer someone a job and leave them hanging like that. WTF?!
What would you recommend? What type of lawyer should I talk to?
- A lawyer to do what? Unethical but not illegal. Imo.Hayoth
- ^ I don't know, never been in this position before. If I can't do anything about it, fine. I just don't know how to go about it.Maaku
