$50 too expensive?
You can have a whole career as a designer, take on many different fields and projects throughout the plethora of softwares included, have access to exactly the same tools agencies and seasoned professionals have. you can basically make a living... all that for $50. If you ask me I find that pretty cheap.
-you do just 1job a year for a thousand bucks in freelance and you can pay for it (and you can even write it off, come on....). If you don't make money with it, then it's a hobby. As such no one force you to use CC, there are free options.
-Have you looked a monthly susbcription in the 3d field? now that is expensive...
-and lastly, chances are you have a cc account at work. you can use it on 2 computers. so I'm not sure what you exactly bitch about.. you can basically have it for free at home.
