All these people so worked up about the wall and they live in a place like Kansas.

    • Bit of a flawed argument. Should anyone who doesn't live by the sea not give a fuck about plastic in the ocean?Hayzilla
    • I’m not so sure. Plastic in the ocean is a real problem. Mexicans walking over the border isn’t really one, and certainly not for people in a Kansas.monospaced
    • I see your point, however many migrant workers make their way to farming communities like those in Kansas.bezoar
    • The farmers of the midwest are landlocked and very protective and perhaps even paranoid of any threat to their way of life.bezoar
    • ironic that the farmers need the help of migrant workers though. I dunno. i've been trying to understand the ignorance my entire life.bezoar
    • so ... migrant workers, who want nothing more in life than to work hard and pay taxes in the US, as legit citizens, who do the hard work are a PROBLEM???monospaced
    • My point is, they aren't a problem. The problem is the citizenship process which keeps these people "illegal" when they shouldn't be.monospaced
    • I don't think anyone in Kansas is saying that migrant mexicans doing field work for less than minimum wage are a significant problem at all.monospaced
    • mono, i agree.
freedom, are you referring to something specific to KS? Apparently the concern is nationwide.
      bezoar
