Here's where liberal media really irritates me. The information, data, logistical challenges, etc. is PLENTIFUL. Maps and geographic documents are PLENTIFUL.

I don't know why the mass media isn't breaking down things like logistical challenges of building on the border far away from any populated areas. Or showing the terrain and why it would be tough to build there. Or breaking down the cost of concrete and steel, labor costs, etc. etc. etc. etc.

I mean it's all RIGHT THERE to be analyzed and parsed and turned into something digestible and real that goes even further to illustrate how dumb the idea of a wall is. Hell, show how long it would take and that we'd be building it for a decade or more.

They could also break down the illogical comparisons to things like the Great Wall of China (built over 2,000 years), or the wall in Israel that is only 400 miles long.

I mean, it's just infuriating that such obvious conversations are skipped. I was obsessively reading about logistics of building a wall back in 2016.

@mg33 breaking down the costs will only work if you actually take that money from peoples pockets.

Because the liberal media's argument is that there's no need for a wall, that there's no immigration crisis.
      ********
    • From that point of view arguing about logistics would be unnecessary, stupid even.
      ********
    • There isn't really a need for a wall though...see_thru
    • I agree with everything you said except your description of the media as "liberal." They're multinationals.allthethings
    • do the job, emphasise the discussion about the actual production. (please don't)

    • This is the same reasoning why the #failingNYT didn't publish an article detailing the flaws in aerodynamics of flat earther 'Mad' Mike Hughes' rocket.
      ********
    • I'm glad there are free thinkers putting the time in crunching the numbers instead of leaving it up to the #liberalmedia to fill our heads with #fakenews.
