- Even regardless of distortion, wouldnt a globe be the most accurate then? Are globes 100% accurate?mantrakid
- Of course a globe is the most accurate, but translating a sphere's surface to a 2D plane introduces distortion.i_monk
- The dymaxion projection is one of the least distorted, but no good for transoceanic navigation or positioning.i_monk
