I bought this Vestax PMC 05 Pro II in Ebay to give a housemate as a gift cause she wants to learn how to scratch and deejay.

The problem is that whenever I connect the amp to it, I use a Technics SU-7100, it makes this buzzing sound that goes up and down when I raise the level of the channels or the master.

I'm driving crazy trying to fix it and been searching for a solution for two days now.

I will try it with another amp but I'm pretty sure it's the mixer.

I changed cables and even tried with another power supply but the buzz persists.

I own a Vestax PMC 05 Pro III and everything runs smoothly.

    Any advice?

    • Ground wire?autoflavour
    • i tried connecting the ground wire from my turntable to the amp and still it didn't workoey
    • is the monitor output buzzing too? if not than output is fucked...renderedred
    • hey renderedred, I'm not using a monitor. setup: two turntables, mixer, hifi amp, two speakers.oey
    • the things is, I can try to use another amp and/or a pre-amp speaker or how you call it in english, like a monitor speaker.oey
    • cause we have a couple of them in our cultural association.just need to wait a couple of days to get the perm.oey
    • i meant listen to it on your headphones too, monitor right? if it buzzes than it's an all around thing, if it sounds ok then the main output is done...renderedred
    • ah!!!!oey
    • ground wire to amp or mixer? I think ground is ground but try connecting it to the mixer direct..autoflavour
    • ^ I did auto, thanks. actually I tried both. I think it's the adapter.oey
