so recently my windows machine had a system update and i lost power during the update. Now my cpu boots with repairing HD and gets stuck at 3-9% for the past 4 days, did a few restarts and booted in safe mode etc. still no dice.
i guess the only option is a hd repair disk or a windows repair disk?

End up reinstalling the OS and copy over whatever was on the Harddrive.pango - Back up your bootdrive!pango

- burn it as a iso to a usb - boot it up. try and fix hard drive!mugwart

- can you boot up a restore point or just the safe mode?********
- 3-9% for how long, if you have tons of files on a big partition it can take up to 40-60 mins to check. can you share a screenshot?********
