    this whole OP-1 price jump is ridiculous .. I would totally be cashing in if I hadn't already sold it.

    I loved having it, but even for selling it for the same price as I paid new, I just couldn't justify it. I think in the end I was in love with the idea of the OP-1, but not the actual machine.

    the limitations which were supposed to force you to make decisions just always felt too hard to commit..

    • odds are an (8 track?) op-2 is in dev as screenless op-z, while cool, not the same imoprophetone
    • or more like a pause in production to re-release as an OP-1+ with more processing power, tracks, expanded os, refinements... just a guessprophetone
    • the thing is a license to print money for them so...prophetone
