Any OP-1 users here? I have always wanted one, but I heard some speculation that they are not going to be making them anymore because the company that makes the screen stopped making them. That means used prices will probably go through the roof. Worth jumping on it now? Is it worth the price at $1000 or more?

    • Ooofffff I don't have one but north of $1k is a little much for what it is, a really cool noise toy, that is not to say I wouldn't love to have one!prophetone
    • Build one of these on the cheap https://github.com/t…prophetone
    • Current price in the UK is £795 new. Second hand it's not much less. To me it's definitely NOT worth that amount of money. I had one for a couple of years.microkorg
    • Think I paid about 500-550 for mine then sold it for about 600 after a couple of years.microkorg
    • It's SUCH a fun toy that's major plus is just being able to pick it up and jam, have fun and sound design with. But to me its no finishing tool.microkorg
    • You have to commit things to tape and bounce down etc so theres no going back. I think I only made one complete song on it while I had it.microkorg
    • If you are looking for something small and fun then maybe think about the OP-Z? BTW I dont think TE have said its STOPPED, just PAUSED production.microkorg
