Whoa... You're hurting my eyes with this one. I'm about to come off like a total dick, but seriously, let me give you some advice: NEVER USE OBVIOUS DESIGN SOLUTIONS. If someone else is doing it, DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. The diagonal line background is bugging me, bigtime. Also, don't give up on the type - this could look dope if properly kerned. Just keep playing with kerning, size relationships, leading, and the magic WILL happen. You have a good sense of body copy which will serve you well on this job. Industrial Factory shit... think Bauhaus, Industrial Evolution/Revolution. Russian Constructivist, Die Brucke...
