What are you viewing the source in? If it's notepad for the PC might wanna see if word wrapping is turned on. Sorry don't know what to do in a mac. But i do agree that Dreamwaever or any front end editor has there own little code they wanna put in there. Have you tried commenting your code? That seems to work for me sometimes.
