Voting is always a reminder of the MYTH of a representative democracy. That those you actually have to vote for somehow represent you and not their own interests like getting paid for mortgage or just to be employed. Most say whatever, as any non-principled person would do to achieve there own self interests.

Being close to advertising I'd think we'd all know better in that any emo driven push about voting is a con. There is no real morality wether you vote or not and the purpose of such drivel is to try and secure credibility for the said representatives. PR 101. Make it pop!

Personally I just hope some sense of rule of law will survive, but history and thermodynamics seem to contest that outcome. Perhaps just last until i get old and die. That's my hope. I really hate to live the same as so many other countries we have destabalized. I prefer xbox over actually having to kill ppl in real life through civil war shit

    • Tell us more about how the laws of thermodynamics affect political outcomes.monospaced
    • Or how paying a mortgage is like the myth of democratic representation.monospaced

    • All I read was "I wanna play my xbox vs. learning about policies that affect me and the world"formed
    • and don't even try your "mono has a reading comprehension" steaming pile of bullshit, because that isn't the issuemonospaced
    • lol. its funny what people latch too. never the real point. point being the myth of a representative democracy. Its not even a new concept.deathboy
    • yet they attack the inconsequential shit they can identify with. xbox... and the word thermodynamics, not concept but the worddeathboy
    • But mono for shits and giggles feel free to explain your mortgage is like a myth of democratic rep. im pretty smart but i have no idea what that is in regardsdeathboy
    • too. its out of context of post, even of my knowledge of posts regarding me, so might need to explain, unless its for someone elsedeathboy
    • is that some new cortez shit about free housing? to me of course is obvious that a mortgage is a free trade system of loaning wealth for interestdeathboy
    • no myth involved in such a transaction... unless talking about ability to adjust interest rates and change assets values by central systems. than yes their is adeathboy
    • on said value structures of real estate. I will say as being a saver and seeing the dollar destroyed through debt i hope powell sees through the QTdeathboy
    • raises interest rates and devalues assets of wealthy who has benefitted the most from the low interest rates.deathboy
    • but for some reason i think mono you have no idea of economy. hell if you did you see free markets are the best and have historically proven to be.deathboy
    • im pretty sure you are a guy who is smart enough to convince himself of knowing what he does not or that it not worth it. looks around and sees others not carindeathboy
    • why should i care to know. you find comfort in it. hell id be happy not knowing what i know. i just cant ignore reason. different types of peopledeathboy
    • which is funny. i think it allows me to see where you come from and empathize, but you cant see where i come from. just no idea or comprehensiondeathboy
    • so how do you share perspectives when some have no ability to comprehend them and most likely never will? A question of philosophy. Im curious how you'd dealdeathboy
    • with such ppl if you had the power.deathboy
    • also i will say straight forward the response I was hoping to find was an argument supporting the idea of a representative democracy through incentivized actiondeathboy
    • that I might miss to argue against my statement. hence debate and reason and what not. i think the myth is a republic exists. the idea of democracy is a slowdeathboy
    • system as any which is governed by basic physics and thermodynamics. individualism is the high point. equality/death is the equilbirum of entrophy in a statedeathboy
    • of inert uniformity. if you have something in response to those terms id like to hear it. if not just a attention whore, a person scared of alt thought theydeathboy
    • don't understand that is offensive to their world view enough to feel the need to debase it at any measure necessary.deathboy
    • I also think sometimes ppl online pursue to insult or irrationally challenge ppl because they get attention a low self esteem person needs. high school shitdeathboy
    • online allows adults to act like kids which they normally grow out of once they get out of the social school zone.deathboy
    • and my opinion mono is you are of that type. looking for some credence or purpose through low self esteem. but honestly that is what i think of youdeathboy
    • maybe im wrong. maybe im right. say history proves correct im more than likely correct however that is of opinion. no 23 and me test or science for such shitdeathboy
    • i really hope you check you check yourself before you wreck yourself dudedeathboy
    • TLDR: Wake up sheeple!soundofreason
    • your rant was almost absolute gibberish. You mentioned mortgages and thermodynamics but they make no sense in this context. At all.monospaced
    • Check yourself before you wreck yourself??? What are you?monospaced
    • Once again. I have no comprehension issues. I am a top notch reader and writer. You obviously are not and it shows. Most people had issues with reading this.monospaced
    • I highly suggest you run a grammar check on your writing. Or brush up on you skills. They are severely lacking to say the least.monospaced
    • This is worthy of a repost. I'll put it in a yurimon thread.

    • But seriously. What did you intend by using the word thermodynamics? If you get on my case for focusing on it, then please explain.monospaced
    • "the idea of democracy is a slow system as any which is governed by basic physics and thermodynamics"soundofreason
    • I think it's as simple as that, he actually does believe democracy is governed by physics. He's not even drawing a parallel.soundofreason
    • utter drivelhans_glib
    • and for the record, deathboy, I know a lot about the market, and markets in general, as an active investor for over twenty yearsmonospaced
    • It's pretty obvious deathboy doesn't know what thermodynamics is, and likely finished high school with a C- in physics, marking the end of his life's educationmonospaced
    • you believe what you will. regardless of reason. however you do peak my curiosity being an "active investor" what is major value you invest indeathboy
    • growth, value, do you have any consideration that the markets are rigged against you. or the possibility of nationalizing all retirement funds?deathboy
    • and yes soundofreason you are correct there are larger systems that govern us. like the seasons. have we ever stopped a fall or spring?deathboy
    • why is it history constantly repeats itself? why is it I speak what ppl did centuries ago? Im no smarter than them.deathboy
    • if you know of physics and of thermodynamics you understand entrophy of systems. simple TD not eve getting deep within time.deathboy
    • i think this sums it up the best https://www.youtube.…deathboy
    • and just to hammer the point home the MYTH of rep democracy. remember focus on the real subjectdeathboy
    • ie. thermodynamics.mantrakid
    • if the market is rigged against me (it's not) then I wouldn't be making so fucking much of it on the market, would I now?monospaced
    • oh, and the laws of thermodynamics don't apply to the market because the market isn't physicalmonospaced
