I worked on the brand team there during the last rebrand initiative but quit after two months because the company was a fucking shitshow (I didn't work on the rebrand at the time). Would turn up at 8:00am hoping to go home at a reasonable time, then my manager would schedule meetings at 6:30pm for an hour or more. Everything was an emergency and there was a very uncomfortable "bro" atmosphere about the place.

Fun factoid: the CEO actually married my wife and I and seemed like such a nice guy. But when I worked on the Uber brand team he acted like he'd never fucking met or even seen me before in my life.

    • I read, "the CEO actually married my wife and seemed like a nice guy"Chimp
    • Like he was a minister or an old sea captain or something?_niko
    • He was the officiant. I think he was roped into it by the promotions team. He was super nervous, to the point it was kinda sweet.5timuli
    • We basically "won" our wedding and honeymoon from Uber and he showed up to lead it. Within a couple of months I was working there (unrelated).5timuli
    • lol read that too. The CEO married my wifedbloc
    • You're such a nice guy to let another man marry your wife.ArmandoEstrada
