Went out to find a poster on my fence I assume directed at my neighbours across the alley (gate directly opposite) who have a dog...
"PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG, I DON'T WANT TO FIND DOG MESS AT MY GATE"
How they think that wouldn't just cause folks to launch bags of shit in to my garden like a swarm of fecal pipistrelle I don't know... The fucking cheek, I mean, I don't like shit at my gate either but it doesn't happen much since I enjoy non-passively chasing down the responsible fuckers...
Tore it down and replaced it with a sharpie scrawled bit of A4 saying:
"LOCAL FECALLY ENRAGED NUTBAGS, ASK BEFORE PUTTING POSTERS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY, THANKS x"
After an hour or so assuming it was a semi-retarded passive aggressive adult made the original poster, I realised it may have been a well-meaning kid, and my fence isn't QBN sidenotes... is my retort going to cause me more grief? Ahhgh FFS.
- ... and it's gone! Guessing whoever was responsible for the original poster took it down. ha.kingsteven
- Possessive implies ownership. Kids own jack. Besides, it's community engagement, all good.detritus
- Ah, good point. Apart from it being totally anon (yet stuck to my fence) the original was in 3 different colour markers hence thinking it may have been kids.kingsteven
- going to go with my original assumption of passive aggressive camouflage.kingsteven
- If they did ask, i'd have told them it would be fine as long as they stick their names/ house number/ telephone on it.kingsteven
- Adults are shit at making signs, as most any street protest should tell you. I made a sign years back for advertising at Glasto. Looked like from spaz 4 yr olddetritus

- I'm ok at that shit now, but fucking hell, WTF was I thinking? I remember making it in my front room, swearing at retardation.detritus
