Good luck to England today! As a passive soccer fan I mostly enjoy watching the athleticism of these guys on the field and the fervor of the fans around the world. I guess I would like to see Croatia win it all since it looks like they've never won it, but I do have a couple friends in the U.K. that are really excited and also there is all the Brits on here that would be ecstatic so that would be cool to see. :) I was doing a little reading last night about the history of the World Cup and was surprised to see that Uruguay won the first cup? I was in Mexico City during the 1986 games and remember how crazy the streets were and also remember watching Maradona live, run across the entire field to score a goal. I was 11 and I think that's how it went anyway lol. I'm also really excited for the World Cup to come here in a few years, maybe some of you guys can fly out for that. Doesn't look like I'll be making it to Qatar for the next go around but I'll surely try to get tickets for an L.A. game or maybe CDMX. (San Diego was one of two cities that didn't even put a bid in to host a game!) WTF?
