    Between Trump's policy to separate families and Italy turning away that ship of refugees, I'm worried we're seeing the beginning of a really ugly trend in the 21st century.

    There's no doubt that mass migration is going to continue and maybe accelerate due to environmental disaster and political conflicts. Africa is projected to have massive population growth within the next few decades and also is going to be the part of the world hit hardest by climate change.

    So what happens when a generation raised on Trump and the far right is faced with the choice of what to do with hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of migrants from third world countries? Nothing good. I hope I'm wrong...
