    I'm going to try acid/salt metal etching something and want to compare different types of resist, so on the way into work earlier popped into a drug store and [stupidly because it was all around me] asked one of the assistants where the nail varnish was. I asked for the cheapest black stuff and she pointed it out to me and clearly did not believe me when I told her "It's not for my fingernails, eh - just cheap and black will do", so after dropping me off at what she thought I needed she regarded me coquettishly, then flicked her hair as she turned and walked off.

    It was still too expensive, because cheap, so I went next door to Poundland and bought some in there for a quid instead. No mischeviousness from anyone in there - no one gives a shit in Poundland.
