The doctor that released a letter describing Donald Trump's "extraordinary" health now tells CNN that Trump "dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter."

"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency,"

    • should have his license revoked. any dr that allows this is clearly able to be bribed to give a good clean of health. crooked afCygnusZero4
    • ^ Like the ones that choose to sell a specific pill over another one because they are "sponsored"? (Even if the other one is better for your health)Maaku

    • It was obvious Trump wrote it. Also, as far as I know, there aren't sponsored doctors, and benefitting from prescribing one brand is a very punishable offense.monospaced
    • @mono: there's a lot of grey area. My wife gets treated to all kinds of things all the time, they're sent sponsored research papers, samples etc. Pharma knowszarkonite
    • what they're doing. The reps are all very good at maintaining relationships...zarkonite
    • Lots of doctors in the family here, and discussions about this. I dated a rep for many years too. Beyond samples, there isn't any bribing happening.monospaced
    • Pharma has been reduced to commercials that are 75% lists of heinous side effects, begging people to talk to their doctors as a result of strict regulations.monospaced
    • And while "big pharma" is no doubt trying hard to be drug pushers, good doctors are still the majority, and can't be won over easily with samples and a smile.monospaced
    • If you are suspect of a doctor behaving in a way that you feel is questionable, you should certainly not be quiet about it. AMA takes this very seriously.monospaced
