South & North Korea officially end war. You can't deny this is also thanks to Trump's pressure. Although it could've started WW3 as well. Nice to see a positive outcome.

Just hope that now Kim & his regime open up their country and stop being so oppressive.

    • They didn't officially end the war yet.yuekit
    • Pretty much and denuclearization as well. If you downvote this just because you hate Trump you're a pretty sad individual. Best news in ages over there.

    • the above article does outline Trump's role but also hints that it's not just because of him, which would be naive to assumeBluejam
    • Nobody says it's just because of Trump only. But if it was Obama you can be sure how much he would be praised here. I'm not a Trump fan, just saying.

    • I’m denying trump had anything to do with this. The very idea he did is so fucking idiotic only a drooling retard would have it.monospaced
    • Just dig up one of his tweets on the subject and try, with a straight face, to argue he was helping. Fucking idiots all trumpsters.monospaced
    • Oh really, you think all Trump's rethoric and posturing + gearing up military/ drills in Korea had nothing to do with it? You're ignorant, really.
      ********
    • I don't like Trump but kudos where kudos due. No other president has pressured the NK regime like Trump did.
      ********
    • Plus the imposed sanctions and because of Trump's pressure China & Russia were much more involved as well.
      ********
    • It's kind of hard to credit Trump given how ignorant he seems to be of world affairs.yuekit
    • Do you genuinely believe he crafted North Korea strategy? Or was sitting around watching Fox News while other people did?yuekit
    • must have been that rocketman tweetfadein11
    • You can also ask the question, if North Korea gets to keep their nukes and normalizes relations with the world, what exactly did the U.S. win?yuekit
    • NK after all never really wanted to attack anyone (in spite of how the media portrays it), they just wanted to end the threat of invasion and stay in power.yuekit
    • Did Trump negotiate something? NK is just showing a better level of diplomacy than the US.Salarrue
    • Besides they are a poor country and they want to have access to the world economy.Salarrue
    • They have been struggling since Obama's sanctionsSalarrue
    • I honestly believe his childish, reckless, immature, idiotic and dumbfuck tweets on the matter were anything but responsible for this outcome. Yes.monospaced
    • But if you want to believe that calling the NK dictator names on social media, talking shit in public is somehow a good thing, then you're also an idiot.monospaced
    • He did more than just the dumb tweeting. Sanctions, military drills, amassing Navy carriers/ bombers there, pressuring China & Russia.
      ********
    • At some point everybody thought we'd see WW3 starting. Now you say it was just dumb tweets and Trump gets no credit for this. Come on, please.
      ********
    • yuekit, maybe that's why it worked. Trump's so batshit crazy they were legitimately afraid.MondoMorphic
    • Trump simply does not give af and that instinct got him elected and also got NK to the table.robotron3k
    • The table that trump was not at? Lol you guys are amazing. Trump didn’t do any of that stuff to NK.monospaced
    • So you're saying the guy that fired missiles at Syria, and missed, is the reason why NK and SK are at peace now?Maaku
    • If Trump has something to do with this it's only that Kim wanted to show the world that he's not the craziest idiot out there. He singled Trump out with thisBeeswax
    • NK had sanctions for years, US has military & Navy presence & regular drills in S. Korea since Korean war.
You act like you're born yesterday. How old are you?
