Upgraded last week and in the past two days it's decided to shut down/go into a deep sleep overnight, even giving me "your computer shut down because reasons" dialogue, and it's really sluggish to boot after.

    Anyone else?

    • if you haven't already, check:
System Prefs > Energy Saver > Schedule

also, spotlight takes FOREVER to index after an upgrade
      Gnash
    • Already checked that, nothing was set to turn off.i_monk
    • is Power Nap enabled? turn off if it isGnash
    • do an SMC & NVRAM reset. the slowdown may be Vcard related.

Also, may want to try tuning off Hibernation in terminal
      Gnash

    • "sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0"
      (no quotes)
      Gnash
    • Turning off the password prompt that kicks in after the screen sleeps fixed it. I guess innovation doesn't sleep after all.i_monk
    • i read about there being an issue with TimeMachine and sleep access. something about permissions. maybe related. oddGnash
