    if facebook /goggle /etc shared out some of the obscene amount of money they make with the people they make it from (i.e. you) then i might think something of them.

    but they don't.

    they take your data and monetise for themselves. they bang on about transparency so they can continue to hoover up all this info and turn it into cash, but won't share anything themselves.

    so they can fuck right off as far as i'm concerned
