Just saw it posted and got to wondering if the data from the CP1919 pulsar emission graph (which Peter Saville inverted for the cover of Unknown Pleasures) is available somewhere online. So went searching for the astrophysicist who discovered it, Northern Irish scientist Jocelyn Bell Burnell who's occasionally used as a feminist martyr as she was overlooked when it came to awarding the Nobel prize for the discovery, which went to her PhD supervisor, even though she had struggled to convince them that the data was worth looking at...

Anyway, couldn't find the data... but stumbled across this Burnell themed, post-satirical, supposedly feminist fashion shoot which has my brain melted. Actually drove me to read an article on the same site about fashion, feminism, philosophy relating to their editorial style - it seems like it may genuine attempt to shoehorn feminism in to a photoshoot without relying on typical 'strong women' tropes typically used in fashion advertising... and this is what they come up with. Fashion people are fucking nuts.

Oh and PI is 3 ⅓ now.
