Had an interesting conversation about UFOs last night, but like 10 minutes in the guy I was talking with said he didn't believe any aliens had come near earth ever, and that in fact all UFOs are simply government experiments in using magnetism for new forms of propulsion in air travel, and all UFO sightings have been military experiments.

Which I guess makes sense although it sort of took the wonder out of the phenomenon. If the DoD ruins aliens on top of everything else one dreams about in America, that'll be a kick to my childhood gut.

    • So, either we're an alien experiment (zoo theory) and they will never show up to not 'disturb' us or it's just not possible for anyone to reach us.M01XXX

    • It's almost certain that there are secret government ships that account for a lot of UFO reportings.set
    • It also seems logical that others are something we have no way of understandingset
    • Even the idea of alien ships might be rudimentary and ignorant. Like how uncontacted tribes simply assume planes are big birdsset
    • fun starts when we manage to discover a inhabited planet with the right conditions for life and pollute it with dna to see how life evolves there.uan
    • That doesn't sound very fun at all. Maybe to humans 100,000 years after the DNA is droppedset
