    I still work in cs, and this past year, clients on CC can't
    Open cs AI files. Little search, found it's common. So basically Adobe is killing legacy files to make people shift to the monthly as well as working with apple to kill cs, updated while back and destroyed certain function. Fixed it by getting Little Snitch and cut off all adobe communication. Ai doesn't crash as much now, just no access to being able to print (crashes) and type preview, but all well. I can work around those.

    • I’m also using cs, with snow leopard, so I haven’t encountered any of those issues, thank fuck. Preview opens all recent so files so it’s not an issue.hans_glib

    • I had the opposite problem with supposedly 'PDF compatible' files generated by CC editions not loading into CSx properly. Yes, Adobe are shyster cunts.detritus
