Nutella has got really good public perception, especially among liberals, that it totally does not deserve.
The first ingredient is sugar, and the second is palm oil, which has been singularly implicated in the vast burning of Indonesian rainforest (and destruction of endangered orangutan habitat!)
The shit is basically a hazelnut-flavored sugar and oil gel, with 21 grams of sugar per serving! as much as 5 oreos!
hazelnuts are the third ingredient on the list, but seem to comprise only 4-6 grams of the 36 gram serving size.
