my only other thought is that some of the spreads look like they've been scanned in and you've got some show through. imho print work looks best if it's photographed well.
and as someone who could potentially be employing you, i'd also knock marks off for not touching up your pics. very picky i know, but it's something that people like me will pick up on.
you've got some cool work - don't let anything spoil it.
