Sorry. I'm starting to really become desensitised to shootings in America. I think, well this is how they want to live. They aren't willing to give up guns so must suffer the repercussions. Sad.

    • True the USA is crazy about guns, on the other hand, nobody has ever colonized an plundered like the good old Brits.robotron3k
    • ^ Are you still colonising yourself then? Interesting fact!Hayzilla

    • robotron3k: What does that have to do with what he's talking about? I don't understand the reason for your "they did it first" reaction... weird.sofakingback
    • I agree, Americans love it. I think in a strange way Americans love hearing that theres been a mass shooting. I think they love knowing theres a bad guy...sofakingback
    • around the corner. It's indoctrination, from movies, to stories, to speeches. You name it. The hero always fighting evil. Americans need villains to be heroessofakingback
    • Im a peace loving goth - but I actually get why american's feel the need for guns and dont mind it.
Guns arent the problem, the world is mentally unstable
      mugwart
    • Gun deaths are caused by people that are not mentally Ill as well. Police officer kills a suspect, kid playing with dads gun, robbery, altercation, etc.sofakingback
    • This is true. They make a lot of money from this mentality. Problem is it is bitting them in the arse. But where in the world is there not major issuesmugwart
    • I really don't agree with this mental illness angle. EVERY country has a lot of mentally ill people. But they don't have access to guns. Guns are the problem!Hayzilla
    • Guns are the problem? Funny...that clown who just ran over 8 peop used a truck...the orig. 9-11 twats used box cutters...England has hat it's share of knifers..PonyBoy
    • ... maybe if people stopped blaming inanimate objects instead of the people using them this world would make more sensePonyBoy
    • Not sure people in America want to live in fear of gin crime @hayzilla. True it sucks but to generalize is pretty fucking purileDaveO
    • @PonyBoy. Do you think that powerful groups like the NRA share any blame for fear mongering and promoting the necessity of gun ownership?Morning_star
    • No...I don’t. If they were promoting mass murder, armed robbery etc then I’d have a problem—but they’re standing by a Right in our law—that’s not fear mongeringPonyBoy
    • I beg to differ. http://adage.com/art…Morning_star
    • Hayzilla, I'm feeling the same way which is sad, my wife mentioned the Texas shooting last night and we both had the same "oh" reaction.ben_
    • Morning... you're crying over one Ad when nearly every fucking TV show / Movie and Video Game being sold / played is damn near pure violence...PonyBoy
    • ... one AD about the real timeframe for an actual emergency and you call it fear mongering? Are you even living in reality?PonyBoy
    • Yep. A reality where: guns are illegal, we can trust the police and a have sensible approach to age sensitive media. (BTW i can link to at least 20 separate...Morning_star
    • ...NRA campaigns that play on the fears and paranoia of idiot Americans.)Morning_star
    • I’m sorry... guns are illegal? What conversation are we having?PonyBoy
