My neighbors are a working class asian family and have a disabled daughter who's like 20 and non-verbal and sits around in a wheelchair on their front porch half the day.
They're always home, probably because of her and seemingly very loving and caring.
I can't imagine how complicated that makes things for them. It must be tough.
