Oh boy. Here we go again. Another day, another scandal with this guy. Trumps entire phone transcripts with foreign leaders released.

Trump urged Mexico's president to change public perception of the wall, and essentially begged him to pay for it, or at least make it seem publicly like the might pay for it so that Trump looks better.

"But the fact is we are both in a little bit of a political bind because I have to have Mexico pay for the wall – I have to."

"We cannot say that anymore because if you are going to say that Mexico is not going to pay for the wall, then I do not want to meet with you guys anymore because I cannot live with that."

"But you cannot say that to the press. The press is going to go with that and I cannot live with that."

    • This is some quality #winning, right here.Continuity
    • And with these wall comments, he can kiss his base good-bye. It's clear he will never deliver the wall, nor ever get MX to pay for it.Continuity
    • I've said it a thousand times already. There was never going to a stupid fucking wall. That was always a lie.monospaced
    • Oh, we all knew that. His base, however, bought into it hook, line and sinker. With this here, though ... he's fucked, as far as his base is concerned.Continuity
