    • 99% of IMAX is complete bullshit to charge more. I looked into it, and there are fewer than a dozen real IMAX screens in the US.monospaced
    • They took regular 35mm size, switched over to digital projectors, kept the screens pretty much unchanged across the board, slapped IMAX logos on it, and $$$monospaced
    • A real IMAX is a square, it's about 2-3 stories tall, and almost wraps your front peripheral vision it's so big, and it's got dozens of speakers, not 7chmonospaced
    • The important part is that the IMAX negative is huge, so the captured image is nice and crisp. Nolan still shoots on film, as apposed to digital.robotinc
