  I bought a packet of this shit in the supermarket earlier
  — it was on special offer at half of the usual £3.

  Blech't!

  Dry to the point of staleness, lacklustre overly-aromatic (ie. extract/synthetic) taste, packaged in unrecyclable pseudo-worthy rip pack with paper bonded to plastic, all in a tiny portion to boot.

  i usually have to put packets of nuts'n'stuff away lest I stuff myself to the point of upset, but these? Pfft.

  Rubbish.
