    I haven't tried it myself yet, but "Ever Space", a rougelike space shoorter looks really nice. Everytime you die you start again as a new clone of yourself, perhaps with a slightly better ship than last.

    Its out on Xbox One, PC, Mac and supports VR.

    • Curious about this. I'm trying to get into Elite, on my Xbox One, but it's such a time-sink when I have other things I should complete.face_melter
    • It also reminds me of Colony Wars, the space shooter on the PSone from many years ago.face_melter

    • I've heard this compared a bit to FTP, you jump to a sector, have some shootouts, pick up some equipment/fuel and jump to the next sectorNutter
    • Elite is a different animal compared to NMS, I still play it, it's a more rounded game since they added base building and vehicles.face_melter
