    so it looks like the previews are gone only for png files with alpha channel, anyone knows a way to fix this?
    I installed vlc and it's still the same

    • Not sure what you mean; QT movies with alpha channels preview just fine (Quicklook). It's a bit hard to see, also seems to vary if straight or premultiplied.evilpeacock
    • Had a thought: if you're using the Animation codec w/alpha and expecting previews then that's your problem. That codec was replaced with ProRes 4444.evilpeacock
    • ProRes 4444 kicks Animation's ass. You should transcode all Animation files to it ASAP.evilpeacock
