    Glad that April Fools is on a Saturday this year, so it'll be mostly a non-event. is it just me, or has the fad for thie fuckign things been a bit on the wane this last year or two?

    if so, good.

    it was great being a kid and makign stupid wee jokes to your folks and friends - it was tiresome and irritating when all the world's websites (plus dog) let their front-end nerds express their humour for a day, before shooing them back into the monkey cupboard for the rest of the year.

    • i like the fake articles in the paper, though they're getting a bit easy to spot, which is sad.hans_glib
    • i remember years ago there was a piece on capital radio where someone was ranting how we were going to lose three days to allow the calendar to catch up with...hans_glib
    • ... the sun and how outrageous it was. this bloke was properly ranting and angry. the next day questions were asked in parliament as to why they hadn't beenhans_glib
